117th Model T Birthday Party
Sunday, September 28, 2025, 10 am – 3 pm
Celebrate the day in 1908 when the first Model T was produced at the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant. Enjoy free Model T rides and vintage vehicles on display. Eat and shop with local vendors and enjoy kids’ activities in the Piquette Assembly Room on the first floor of the museum. Model T rides are first-come, first-serve until 3 p.m. Free birthday cake is served at Noon while supplies last. Admission prices are $10 to $20 for museum entry and guided tours.
Motor City Origins Tour
Saturday, November 29 at 5:30 p.m.
Enjoy a special, after-hours tour of the Ford Piquette Plant Museum that explores the history of Detroit’s Milwaukee Junction neighborhood, where the Motor City got its start. This event will highlight how Ford, Dodge, Cadillac, Studebaker, Anderson Electric and others launched Detroit as the automotive capital of the world. A social start to the evening includes a complimentary Happy Half-Hour and light bites, followed by a theater presentation and guided tour of the museum’s rare collection of antique vehicles all made in Milwaukee Junction after the turn of the 20th century. Tickets are $25 for museum Members and $40 for non-members.
